The Role
The grounds crew is the backbone of every job we run. You will work alongside our climbers and arborist to keep operations moving safely and efficiently from the ground. This is a great entry point into the tree care industry with real room to grow your skills and advance your career.
Responsibilities
- Clear and chip brush, limbs, and debris as it comes down from the climber
- Feed material into the chipper safely and efficiently
- Set up and maintain work zone safety including traffic control measures
- Assist climbers with rigging setup and rope handling
- Load and transport debris and logs and keep job sites clean
- Help load, unload, and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Follow all safety protocols and ANSI Z133 guidelines
What We Are Looking For
- Willingness to work hard, show up, and learn the trade
- Dependable, punctual, and a team playerAble to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Driver’s license preferred, prior outdoor labor experience is a plus but not required
- Basic chainsaw experience and strong safety awareness are a bonus
